Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to one of the most important aspects of the work of teachers in rural areas, namely motivation for equalizing educational opportunities for students. The issue of equal educational opportunities is today particularly timely in view of the need to improve the rural environment to a higher level of education. Still, there are significant disparities between urban and rural areas in this regard. Equalizing educational opportunities for students from rural schools requires the involvement of many people, mostly related to education, mainly teachers. The text is presented reflections on the role of the teacher in the rural environment and the results of empirical studies conducted in rural schools Kielce district, the motivation of teachers to equalize educational opportunities for students from rural areas.
