Summary/Abstract: The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) is one of the most popular measures of self-esteem in adolescents and young people. The scale has been intensively and extensively used in research and practical purposes. The score on RSES can provide practitioners a first indication on a possible difficulty which an adolescent has with self-esteem. This present study summarizes data which were collected from a sample of Romanian adolescents (N = 490). The data suggest that RSES has good psychome¬tric qualities indicating that it can be used at the individual level to assess self-esteem and tailor the interventions.
