Summary/Abstract: In this work, the author emphasizes the importance of nurture and education in raising a human personality and the proper development of human resources. The work presents the socializing factors that play a primary role in raising a human personality, with the special focus on school as the crucial center of socialization, and family, where primary socialization takes place. While elaborating the concept of the education, the author presents the most important theoretical perspectives of education. Given that the intention of education in the modern era is capital, the work points out the necessity of restoring the humanizing role of education. The work emphasized the necessity of making a constructive educational policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will, among interest, take the demands of the market into account. Otherwise, Bosnia and Herzegovina will educate staff for the European and other markets. The immediate consequence of the mentioned educational concept, uncoordinated with the market, is the tendency of young people to go to the European countries. The work presents different national ideologies that are also established in the educational system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
