Summary/Abstract: The subject matter of this article is the role of religion in modern western society. The author points out the significance of religion for modern society, emphasizing the substantial dedication of religion to intercultural and interreligious dialogue as an essential feature of society at the time of alienation and unfounded prejudices. The text concludes that the revealed religions, with their own moral codes, can help modern society to overcome numerous challenges and dilemmas.
