Summary/Abstract: This paper wishes to draw attention to this work. On the one hand, we focused on underlining the special bibliophile importance of the Iassy edition, from 1835, the first Romanian translation of the German adaptation from 1779 by J. H. Campe, of „the novel” Robinson Crusoewritten by Daniel Defoe; (this was launched in 1719), and in our country was released under the title Robinson Cruzoe seau Întâmplările cele minunate a[le] unui tânăr (or secondary title Avanturile seau întâmplările lui Robinson). On the other hand, we followed to mention the fact that in the Reference library of the National Museum from Alba Iulia is preserved the second volume of this important printing from Iassy, from the modern time of culture, literature and Romanian printing. Translation of the work was made by Vasile Drăghici (1796-1861), Moldavian writer of humble origins, that became a boyar, following his preoccupations for book and occupying some intellectual positions. Thirdly, we also focused on pointing out several aspects of primary reception, at the level of Moldavia (but also Bucharest) of this important release from Iassy, from 1835, by publication and initiation of analysis of the List with book's subscribers, also printed at the end of the work from 1835. Thus, according to this primary investigation is revealed that this work had more or less contributed to spiritual shaping of many important figures from the beginning of modernization of Romanian society, such as Mihai Eminescu, Vasile Alecsandri, Costache Conachi, Alexandru Ioan Cuza, Mihail Kogălniceanu etc.
