Summary/Abstract: The article is written as the author’s response to the argumentation in Orlin Sabev’s studies The Plevna “Turkish” Bones Story: “Anecdotes”, “Facts” and “Interpretations”, published earlier in the anniversary double edition of the journal “Historical future”. It contains also Todev’s opinion on the issue about the fate of parts of the soldiers’ bones, who died during the occupation and the battle at Pleven, July 20 – December 10 1877. According to the author, bone material from dead and buried around Pleven soldiers arrived in Bristol, regardless of whether Turkish, Russian or other, and not exhumed corpses. Apart from the standpoint on the matter at hand, the argumentation is expanded with answers in regards to other questions, raised in Sabev’s studies, concerning earlier publications of Todev.
