Cooperation between communes and non-governmental organizations in the area of tourism considered in terms of communes' own tasks

Summary/Abstract: The article covers currently relevant issues concerning cooperation between communes and the third sector, that is non-governmental organizations. The issues discussed in details include forms of cooperation, and public tasks that may be performed by non-governmental organizations under the Act on non-governmental organizations and volunteering. Only one public task will be given a more detailed consideration, that is tourism. The paper discusses selected aspects of the aforementioned matter forms of cooperation with non-governmental organizations employed in order to perform public tasks in the area of tourism.
