Summary/Abstract: The first part of the “Dictionary of Slovak Literary Translators of the 20th Century” was published in 2015. It is a tremendous step forward in Slovak translation studies. The first part of the dictionary includes 25 translators from the Polish language; seven of them deal exclusively or predominantly with the translation of Polish literature. These seven translators are discussed in this paper in more detail.
