Summary/Abstract: Jozef Marušiak is one of the most distinguished translators of Polish literature into Slovak. The scope of his work is extraordinarily wide. In this paper his most important translations and translation areas are presented in order to show how the picture of the Polish literature in Slovakia has been affected and formed by his work.
