FORM WITHOUT RORMALISM

Summary/Abstract: In the creative process, Dušan Matić permanently felt the need to extend the routine forms of expression. In order to achieve stronger aesthetic effects he often intertwined his essay-like style with a poem, a story, a travel record. This intertwining was so skillfully and suggestively realized, that occasionally, these forms are even difficult to distinguish. Hence, the complex forms such as essay-poem, essay-story, essay-travel record, theoretical experience is not always applied during the process when a work-being is born, or, as the poet said, “each subsequent poem is created by itself”.
