Summary/Abstract: Neuroaugmentation is most commonly defined as the totality of interventions aimed at improving (natural) individual and collective cognitive and emotional abilities, over the typical capabilities of the species. Although there are several applications useful for the national security domain, conceptual and ethical issues must be solved, in order to identify the most effective operational solutions.
