Summary/Abstract: The development of communication and information technology contributes to the increased complexity of military actions, thus changing its image and the characteristics of the future battlefield. The military conflicts of the last decade have demonstrated the role of surveillance sensors in obtaining an accurate image of the areas in question. The information provided by these systems ensures information superiority over the enemy and the proper engagement of forces and means in the conduct of military operations and in reaching the purpose of the war.
