Summary/Abstract: Karol Wojtyla, as a priest, bishop and Pope in his teaching and preaching is committed to St. John of Kety. He consideres him an exemplar of a dedicated professor, researcher and at the same time a shepherd open to others. He emphasized the qualities of his character such as diligence, reliability, sensitivity, enthusiasm to acquire knowledge. All that, according to Karol Wojtyla, made St. Jan Kanty an outstanding and exemplary person.
