Summary/Abstract: Today, the principal of the school shall not only be equipped with the proper skills, motivations, and qualifications, but also be entrepreneurial. Bringing innovation to schools is a manifestation of having this competence. The concept of innovation is relatively well recognized in the public sector, but still not enough space is reserved for the study of entrepreneurship in public organizations, as well as attempt to link entrepreneurship with innovation of educational institutions. The preliminary study identifies the attributes of public entrepreneurship in the education sector. This makes it easier to manage the human resources of public educational institutions and create an environment conducive to innovation of the education sector.
