Summary/Abstract: At the beginning of the institutionalization of ethnography as a science in Albania, the immediate task was the collection and recording of what is known as "traditional culture" of the people, which is considered to be endangered by the rapid modernization of lifestyle. In this context, the Division of Ethnography at the Institute of History created a network of associates, generally teachers of history and literature, who would help in the "registration" of that culture, through meeting the people of questionnaires prepared by researchers Sector.
