Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present the phonological features of the English used in the Philippines. We analyze the features of the sound system (vowel systems and Consonants), the traits of accent, rhythm, intonation and phonological processes characteristics. Differences and similarities with standard English, but also with American English - as is usually the case - are also underlined.
