Summary/Abstract: Moving away from the traditional models of working time and implementing flexitime schemes has become a characteristic feature of modern organizations. The articledescribes the essence of the flexible models and discusses the reasons for changes whileshaping and dividing the working time. The author tries to elaborate on flexi time andclassifies its forms. Showing the advantages connected with the introduction of flexibleworking time is yet another important part of the article. Reaching the aims after theflexible working time has been implemented in the organization, is considered from thepoint of view of both the companies as well as their employees. The article also shows theimpact of the described forms on the whole organization as suchand signalizes the socialbenefits resulting from the modern developments in this area.
