Summary/Abstract: This research was done in the context of increasing interest in highlighting the factors responsible for maintaining psychological well-being in young people. Thus, to study this subjects we have achieved two experimental sets: The first experimental set, done on 50 people, was aimed at delimiting concepts for happiness, for determining the factors responsible for the happiness and bliss to identify the hierarchy of happiness components. The results showed that the youngsters vision on happiness is associated with love, satisfaction, family and interrelations, joy, health, achievements and material wealth. Among the factors that may cause happiness were observed two directions: independent and dependent factors – subordonate by themselves and their efforts. Thus, independent factors are considered: love, health, environment, chance, society, circumstances and stability; while dependent factors include - work, family, dedication, interpersonal relations, material welfare, perseverance and courage. It was noted that for young people, happiness involves health, family and emotional well-being, while the material aspect was placed precisely on the sixth position, and social life - on the eight. The second experimental assembly, conducted on 90 individuals, involved determining the relationship between subjective well state and personality type of the youngsters (extrovert or introvert). It was found that extraverts are more likely than introverts to live more intense wellbeing, and even happiness, while introverts’s wellbeing and happiness is more stable as strictly depends on inner feelings and proper perceptions. Wellbeing of young people varies according to the type of personality: extroverted wellbeing is flexible, varying depending on what happens on the outside, but can reach the highest levels, people feeling intense joy and even happiness. The opposite side is occupied by the wellbeing of introverts, its intensity is much lower while the stability being much higher.
