Summary/Abstract: The paper presents part of the data and the materials from the 2012-2013 archaeological excavations carried out at Bodeştii de Jos ‘Cetăţuia Frumuşica’ (Neamţ County, Moldavia, Romania). The first part describes an unburned clay structure which is dated to the Cucuteni A-B phase. The complex was partially preserved on a small surface (0.90x2.00 m) and provides valuable information through its inventory and structure. The second part contains the analysis of the painted Cucuteni A-B pottery (22 potsherds) and shell-tempered Cucuteni C pottery (61 fragments).
