DESCOPERIRI BOIAN ÎN INTERFLUVIUL BUZĂU-RÂMNICU SĂRAT
BOIAN FINDINGS IN THE BUZĂU – RÂMNICU SĂRAT WATERSHED

Summary/Abstract: The Râmnic Plain was not included in the area of interest of the archaeologists until recently, given the lack of informations regarding the Chalcolithic occupation of the region. The present study refers to six discoveries attributed to Boian culture. For two of the sites, few informations were known, as for the rest we retrieved data both from the archives of museums and storage facilities. The materials come from preventive excavations and archaeological field surveys and were found in the collections of Buzău County Museum, Râmnicu Sărat Municipal Museum and Prahova Museum of History and Archaeology.
