Implementation challenges of the EU-Georgia association agreement

Summary/Abstract: The implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement is a long and complex process that will have a great impact on the Georgian legal system. In the paper an attempt will be made to identify the main challenges of legal, constitutional and institutional nature related to implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement. For this purpose, the relevant institutional and legal frameworks and instruments existing in Georgia will be analysed. Furthermore, considerations about the identified problems related to implementation process will be discussed.
