The Importance and Value of the Pedagogue’s Work Program

Summary/Abstract: The task of a school pedagogue is to constantly educate himself in order to preserve his capacity of a school associate. Accordingly, the modern school is changing and developing with the aim of preserving the identity of the socio- pedagogical function it has had throughout history. The paper gives an overview of the basic determinants of educational activities, associates all way up to the role of the modern pedagogue. Furthermore, the paper explains the profession of a pedagogue, and the importance of his role in the development of the curricula, as well as the actions helping him to realize this role. The aim of the paper is to point out the importance of a pedagogue’s work in planning, his deliberation and evaluation of his own work for the purpose of its constant improvement and adaptation to the needs of students as well as the improvement of the institution he works for.
