Summary/Abstract: In this paper will focus on the beautification of the musical folk instruments made of wood. On the basis of collected materials, we will try to classify the ornamental figures of folk musical instruments, as well as the connection between the material and spiritual culture, which the folk artist manages to bring in wood ornaments. We think that the figures that appear in the musical instruments are divided into two groups: those who master see and know, and those who he just have thought or have heard about them. The former are from nature and everyday life and the latter relate to his outlook on life, on the habits and customs. In both he shows his imagination. We have also made a classification of ornamental figures of folk musical instruments. Wood ornaments are part of our folk culture.
