About Terms "Primitive" and "Archaic" in Ethnology

Summary/Abstract: In this paper there is assumed to be provided data relating to the use of the terms "primitive" and "archaic", as terms that were widely used in the field of ethnology. Although the terms in question were the product of evolutionary school, they were also a topic of discussion and treatment of other schools, which contributed to a better understanding and to a better use of them. Over time, both of these terms, and in particular the term “primitive", has obtained a certain meaning of quality towards our culture: something that is primitive, which is worse and lower than historical civilizations.
