Summary/Abstract: This article discusses selected aspects of the functioning of the local government in the Lubuskie province, and in particular the process of creating and implementing the most important strategic documents. The authors propose introducing two institutional segments to the system of planning in the region: the Regional Centre PPP and the Regional Centre of Project Management.
