The revision of the Constitution, a major responsibility action .

Summary/Abstract: The revision of the Constitution, a topic which tends to become perennial in the Romanian public debate, has returned to the attention of lawyers through a new draft amendment of the Fundamental Law. Entered into endorsement procedure on 25 June 2013 the draft amendment is meant to be submitted to referendum on the 25 May 2014, day set for the European Parliament elections. Thus, if in the view of Professor Ioan Muraru, the amendment of the Fundamental Law should be treated as a major responsibility action, carried out with the support of specialists in this matter.
