Summary/Abstract: The article presents a snapshot of a committed pilot survey among 66 mediators from the region of Sliven (students and teachers). Various motives that have helped in the selection of a mediator are introduced in the text. The article presents different conflict situations that these mediators have solved, difficulties that they have encountered in their work as mediators, the impact of mediator preparation for their behaviour and the need for additional training as mediators.
