Summary/Abstract: Тhе effective human resource management is viewed nowadays as а basic competitive advantage for the multinational organization. One of the most important proЫems in this field is concemed with defining the optimal balance between the degree of standardization and differentiation in the practices and policies for human resource management, applied in the different subsidiaries of the company. In this connection the material presents consecutively the approaches and strategies, used for human resource management in the multinational organization, as well as the basic factors, influencing the decision for standardization.
