Summary/Abstract: Most of the contemporary historical documentaries use re-enactment as a technique to illustrate moments of which no archival sources are available. Though practiced ever since the advent of the motion pictures, presently reenactments have become almost a must. Naturally, the range of the artistic outputs of using them is a vast one. How do documentaries change with such moments incorporated on a regular basis or is the change merely visual? Are the principally lower budgets of documentaries the reason for these sceneries or has the marking of a scene already become a documentary manner and do the directorial endeavours differ from those in a feature film?
