Summary/Abstract: The situation with national minorities is a permanent subject ofinterstate discussions and meetings. National minorities are the object of increasedattention of governments and political powers in particular who are interested in keepingits position and influence abroad. It’s obvious that the foreign policy of certain states andpolitical leaders influence a lot on national minorities’ position and activity.The issue of national minorities is, in the process of European construction, oneof the most important aspects that European countries have had to manage. Learningabout and researching minorities, for then to transmit knowledge and experience to youngpeople through education, have become an essential pillar of European values on theconstruction of an intercultural society based on direct and indiscriminate cooperationand collaboration between ethno-religious communities.Throughout the article we are trying to present briefly a special, and we believe asuccessful model of the integration process of several ethnical and confessionalminorities. This is the example of Transylvania.
