Summary/Abstract: Living in time of media promotions, political conflicts, pseudo sensations, easy fun and aesthetic spectacles, less and less we notice that constant battle for domination on the market, turned journalists into gladiators not choosing means when it comes to being first to public the latest news, in their desire for public courtesy. Political and economic elites use this ably when choosing redaction and reporters to whom they will offer fresh information of exclusive interviews, thus creating an atmosphere of immediate infatuation. On the other hand, security services, back-door centers of power, venous or close to underground sources, offering wisp of data from anonymous sources, are allusively fighting the war with disinformation , relocating qualified public into the field of manipulation and propaganda. PR agencies, spokespersons, lobbyists and information services, started using more often influential media as their notice boards, and by public announcement blizzards they offer a wonderous formula for survival of thin and loaded news-agencies. Hence the news is less and less reflecting reality, but more helping the ideological location of public space. The means of gathering information are becoming more important in contemporary journalism, since they are deciding what kind of picture will be served to the media.
