Summary/Abstract: The article specifies pedagogical skills (cognitive and practical) which students-future teachers must have for teaching the official for the country (Bulgarian) language in terms of a multicultural educational environment. The theoretical part is a brief analysis of regulatory documents specialized linguistic, pedagogical and methodological literature. It formulates specific pedagogical skills according to the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning and the National Qualifications Framework of the Republic of Bulgaria for level 6, subsection 6B – i.e. for bachelor students. On this theoretical basis a technological model is presented to build pedagogical skills of students in language training in intercultural environment. Experience is being shared in training bachelor students from the “Preschool and Primary School Education” and “Preschool Education and Foreign Language” at the Branch Vratsa to the University “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”.
