Summary/Abstract: The article is a new approach to the position King Ferdinand held in the Romanian society and among European royals. Respectfully spoken about in foreign newspapers, he was a dynamic and elegant presence in Romania. During his time politics, economy and culture had a progressive evolution and there were associated to the King’s vocation and intelligence skills of leadership.
