Summary/Abstract: Conveying general theoretic and practical conclusions from the area of computer science within archival theory and practice, and thin king about archival material as a complex communication channel established amongst individuals or groups from the past, for which, first of all present archivists have to take care of, open new dimensions of research of legalities in communication within archival theory and practice. The results of such research essencially represent a stimulus to the knowledge for manipulating with differently written data in the way to guarantee their minimal public faith and protection of originality and credibility independent of the time or the manner they had been written in and the reason why they appeared in a definite legitimate procedure. Guaranting the public faith in archival information is a significant attribute of preserving and maintaining archival material for achiving above mentioned relevance of the information, since they are unique items according to the rules of archival information. This is expressed especially in examples when original documents are being preserved only on a mechanically readable medium or a mechanically readable supstitute of original archival material. From the aspect of archival theory and practice, we conclude that such solution for archival information is necessary only in a horizontal time component, whilst it is relatively difficult to guarantee it after a certain time in a vertical time component. From the point of view of archival theory and practice, we conclude that present forms of elements of guaranting public faith in electronic documents enable its practical implementation through various ways of crypting in open systems, or closed systems, wherby that problem is not so important. Having done this, we have to worn that due to the fast development of information technology, it is not possible to implement existing solution universally in some other space or time unit.
