Summary/Abstract: In intelligence activity, like in all fields, competition generates competitiveness, which, in turn, determines that a certain intelligence service gain the ability to compete with other intelligence services. Most of the time, this competitiveness leads, perhaps paradoxically, to the emergence of some cooperation relations whose purpose is precisely the strengthening of advantageous competitive positions for intelligence activity.
