The participation of Romania in the Universal Exhibition of Paris. 1900

Summary/Abstract: General concerning the organization of this exhibition, led by D.C.Ollănescu, Commissioner-General. For the plans of the Romanian pavilion was chosen a renowned French architect D. Camille Formige, laureate of the Universal Exhibition of 1889. The French architect, after a visit of documentation in Romania, made a project for the royal pavilion in 'Inspired after the Cathedral of Curtea de Arges, the church Three Hierarchs and the monastery of Hurezu.
