Summary/Abstract: Much of the information used comes from the memoirs of General Alexandru Pelimon, a sub-lieutenant and commander of the Regiment 44 I Argeş Machine Gun Company. A good narrator, Alexandru Pelimon leads us through the actions of the company in the Ţara Loviştei during the summer of 1915 and who, from August to November 1916, was in constant contact with the enemy, Offensive towards Sibiu than during the retreat to Boila, Curtea de Argeş and Pitesti. Apart from the fact that the information concerns the actions of the Regiment 44 I. Argeş the author insists on the company of machine guns. We insist on the daily life of the company, on the mentality and the patriotism proper of the simple men who understood the necessity of the national union by the formula "The chosen end" . The soldiers thus retired to Moldova believing in the final victory.
