Summary/Abstract: In recent years, the national cultural heritage of the Galatzi County Museum of History has increased with an important archaeological piece; The second Roman military emblem discovered in the vicinity of the Roman camp of Tirighina-Bărboşi, an archaeological monument known in the literature of specialty.The object in question does not originate from an archaeological context well specified in time and space, but it was discovered by pure chance.The piece depicts a Roman bronze eagle in flight - ready to attack - head to the right and wings spread out in the manner in which most of the Roman eagles "signa militaria" are in fact melted.
