Summary/Abstract: In the case of as territorial change, people should themselves decide if they want to maintain the citizenship of their former states they were the nationals of or to acquire the citizenship of a new state they live in after the territorial change. The legal status of stateless persons and foreigners is shown on the basis of citizenship status and related matters, including the determination of the existence of statelessness.
