Information society in Poland – selected problems and implications

Summary/Abstract: The information society in Poland was the subject of analyzes, even before the elements that now shape them are most significant and have changed significantly. However, in the course of theoretical considerations on this concept, there are further threats that communities are not prepared for. In addition to the increasingly modern methods and techniques of acquiring and using information, there are other, combining the latest technologies with social impact. The article discusses selected issues related to threats in the information society, their effects and possible trends of development.
