Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to analyse the economic cooperation between Poland and Germany during the 1994–2015 period. The author evaluates the benefits of economic integration with in the European Union. The analysis includes the impact of trade exchange between the two countries which ensures economic security. It was based on the conceptof declining Krugman’s new trade theory in relation to the theory of comparativecosts by D. Ricardo.
