Summary/Abstract: The article concerns development of theory of protective pedagogy among Jews living in Poland during 1928–1939. The author refers to publications run in Przeglad Spoleczny, published in Lvov by Jewish educators. M. Lapot quotes school of thoughts of Debora Vogel, Aron Lewinson, Lazar Schachner, Moritz Friedlander, Jozef Kohn and makes analysis of comprehension of ideas such as care, orphan, upbringing/education.
