BIBLIOGRAPHY OF LITERATURE ON POLISH ECCLESIASTICAL LIBRARIES FOR THE YEARS 2001-2005

Summary/Abstract: Ecclesiastical libraries occupy a significant place in science librarianship. They possess valuable collections. These libraries act as culture creators in the Church’s mission. Among these we distinguish private and institutional collections. The latter embrace the resources of cathedrals, chapters, collegiate churches, dioceses, parishes, academic colleges, seminaries, religious orders, congregations and others. This bibliographic documentation presents the state of the literature on Church libraries in Poland for the years 2001-2005.
