Functioning of the family in a changing cultural reality

Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author draws attention to the challenges faced by contemporary families due to cultural changes. Transition issues are analyzed in a system of marital and parental problems parental functioning. The author answers the question of the cultural associated related to the deferral of reproductive decisions and considering changing parental roles in the context of cultural change. Therefore, instead of questions about the characteristics of the modern parent's question about the chances of filling the role of parental responsibility by today's parents. The considerations are based on assumptions of system concepts, the meaning of family as a cultural system, and taking into account cultural differences.
