National identity in the light of cultural changes

Summary/Abstract: The article is focused on analyzing concept of national identity on an interdisciplinary level. The authors indicate dynamism, development and the importance of national identity in historical perspective, and then analyze this concept in psychological term. Starting from the concept of identity, provide psychological theories related to national identity, and then indicate the problems of development and the importance of national identity in relation to currently experienced socio-cultural changes.
