Joy in the Process of Education

Summary/Abstract: Education is a very complex process. It is difficult to name all the factors that have an effect on its course, as pedagogical theories and educational patterns keep changing. In our times, it is observed that once rejected fun and entertainment are not in fact harmful for the correct development of a child. Quite the opposite, they are indispensable for its appropriate progress. Creating an appropriate mood – joyful atmosphere is particularly important for the process of education. The main assumptions of the concept of the three Catholic educators: the Reverend St. Jan Bosko, sister St. Urszula Ledóchowska and sister Jozafata Bogolubow are presented in this paper. All of them strongly emphasized the role of Christian joy in the process of education.
