Summary/Abstract: The international community, taking into account the dynamics of the crimeand its "new" modern forms, sets specific mechanisms for determining their focus,where, solidarity between states in the fight against crime at the international level.Almost all of the international documents within the UN, the EU and otherregional organizations, are including the problem of organized crime, corruption,money laundering etc. In the regulations of these documents are mentioned manypublic servants, politicians, responsible persons in public enterprises, governmentbodies, courts, etc., and are criminalized participation in an organized criminalgroup, money laundering, corruption, obstruction of justice, etc. .The international activity in the fight against organized crime has beenintensified in the last ten years and its main directions are focused on the lawharmonization by accepting common approach (the definition of organized crime,the definition of acts of "market of vices", corruption and money laundering, as wellas procedural investigative measures), accepting effective internationalinstruments in order to control and connect the institutions of criminal justice,internationally (Interpol, Europol, the police, state prosecutors and judicialsystems).Republic of Macedonia is also present in this developments and in the lastdecade making there are noted a lot of legislative and legal reforms in the directionof harmonization of criminal law. Republic of Macedonia has ratified severalinternational documents relating relating to the criminalization of organized crimeand corruption as well other acts of abuse of power.
