Summary/Abstract: The visit of Prince Mihai to Poland in May 1937, less important from the point of view of facts, if we exclude his mission to invite the President of the Republic of Bucharest, has symbolic significance for the relations between the two states. The tone used by the Polish press also shows the great interest that Warsaw had for both the Royal Family of Romania, which he had a close friendship since the early 1920s, as well as for the alliance with Bucharest.
