Summary/Abstract: Contemporary library needs to be information, communication, education and media center. In order to achieve these complex tasks, the library activities need to be specifically directed towards tasks achievement. It is essential that libraries, school and academic libraries in particular, beside to the use of modern information and communication technologies, have defined library curriculums which are aligned with the national education curriculum. This among other things means the readiness to apply didactic methods in the realization of educational activities that are conducted in libraries One of the models for the realization of educational programs is Bloom's taxonomy. The aim of this paper is to show on the example of education of school librarians that was conducted in 2013 in Sarajevo Canton the use of Bloom's taxonomy in the implementation of information literacy for school librarians.
