But, expectations of students are not limited to religious education from Qur'an courses. One of them is counseling service. Expectations that gain visibility out of the religious field show themselves more at social and psychological -Individual and family- levels. In this study, the functions of Qoran courses are discussed as an institution providing counseling services for the psychological and family problems of adult female students. What kind of contributions can be made for the problems of the students of the Qur'an courses are discussed based on the information given by the Qur'an course instructors. In our work, it is argued that the Qur'an course instructors, who are positioned as "clerics" by students can offer meaningful contributions to the religious, psychological and social problems of adult female students and that Qur'an courses can be made more functional and offer considerable contributions in this regard.
